A new study by Duke University published on August 12, 2013 in JAMA Pediatrics suggests a possible link between induced labor/labor inducing drugs and autism.  Researchers examined over 8 years of birth records in North Carolina.  They examined records of 625,042 live births and found that 170,000 births were induced.  Of the 170,000 induced births,  5,648 children had developed some form of autism spectrum disorder.  Click here to read more about the study’s findings.
