Younger Siblings of Children with Autism have Greater Risk of Having Autism

A new Danish researchers found that parents who already had one child with autism had a 7.5% chance of having another child with ASD.  This was the first population-based study that examines the risk of recurrence of autism taking into account approximately 1.5 million children born in Denmark with ASD between January 1, 1980 to December 31, 2004.
